While waiting for a TV show to begin, there was a typical snippet of news designed to either scare or intimidate so you tune in later that night. This snippet focused on Google’s work to ensure their autonomous cars have a successful future.

Sergey Brin made an appearance while donning a Project Glass demo unit. Newscasters most likely have no idea what to say about this initiative, so they immediately skip to ignorance by claiming Google wants to make people “human surveillance cameras.”

The worst part? “These glasses will allow you to check Facebook updates.” I bet Google employees cringe every time someone says Facebook instead of Google+.
